How can I become a part of T3 Elite?

T3 Elite is a program that organizes elite teams for middle school (5th-8th grade) and high school (9th-11th grade) players. T3 North is based out of the Somerset County area, while T3 Shore is based out of the Monmouth County area. Our Elite teams are primarily summer tournament teams with pre-season practices beginning in January. However, we also offer an optional fall tournament season.

During these tournament seasons, our players receive outstanding instruction from the T3 Elite coaching staff and compete against some of the top travel lacrosse programs in the country. And while T3 understands the importance of winning games and showcasing our players’ talent, the core focus of our program is still player development. We do everything we can to help our players, regardless of their experience level, to improve and reach their potential. The dedication of our coaching staff is clear when you see the amount of time they spend working with their elite players, and it’s this personal touch that we have developed a reputation for. And best of all, we offer this at an outstanding value.

T3 Elite has a track record of success built upon strong coaches, formidable competition, and organized management.

Our players are trained by dedicated coaches who are extremely knowledgeable about the game of lacrosse. They bring countless years of playing experience and have coached at both the high school and collegiate levels. Take a look at our Staff Page for the background on our amazing coaches.

Under these coaches, T3 Elite teams have been successful at highly competitive tournaments around the country. Each summer, T3 teams face nationally recognized club programs in the top brackets at these competitions. This summer, our teams once again won division championships and made appearances in tournament finals. To see the complete results of the 2011 summer season, Click Here.

Also, T3 Elite is known for its organized nature and the staff’s commitment to players and parents. From the office to the lacrosse field, T3’s staff does everything it can to make sure operations run smoothly, so participants can focus on the game. And our staff is open and accessible. Call the T3 office and you can actually get someone on the phone. Voicemails and emails are always returned in a timely manner, because we understand the importance of customer service. We employ dedicated full time office staff to support business operations.

We realize that an elite team experience cannot be successful with good coaching alone. It takes an investment in the backbone of the business, office support, to make everything run smoothly for all. And it takes staff that cares about the success of the players and of the organization. You will find that at T3.

T3 provides many advantages to its Elite players to help them reach their full potential. We make sure our players have access to training year-round to improve their skills. To supplement our Elite practices, we promote year-round opportunities for T3 Elite teammates to play together in leagues and train together in our small group classes. And we offer reduced rates and/or package pricing to our elite team families in an effort to make the training more affordable. As a result, we develop successful players who continue with lacrosse at the collegiate level. Everyone at T3 is proud to have helped open up many college opportunities for our high school athletes. Over 150 T3 girls have continued their dedication to lacrosse through college. Check out our Team Honors page to learn more about where they’ve gone on to play.

Over the past seven years, T3 has built relationships with and earned the respect of college coaches at every level. Our athletes are getting noticed by top DI, II, and III coaches regularly. T3 staff interacts with these coaches to build opportunities for our Elite players and get their names in front of collegiate coaches as often as possible. We use a number of tools to supplement the college recruiting efforts of our players. These include online player profiles, promotional player profile books that are distrusted to college coaches on site at tournaments, parent informational sessions with T3 directors, College Coach Recruiting Forums, and more.

When it comes time for your daughter to look at schools, you will find the T3 Staff guiding and supporting her decision, whether she’s looking at big name DI schools or smaller DIII programs. We are not focused on helping only the superstars. We help find the right place for every one of our players and we enjoy doing it. Click Here to see what some of our players and parents have to say about us.

Every year, T3 looks to expand its offerings for Elite players and add additional resources for our families. We host our own recruiting showcases to gain exposure for our players and to foster our relationships with college coaches. These showcases broaden the interaction that our staff has with colleges on a daily basis. And this past season, we added a special “College Coach Recruiting Forum” exclusively for our Elite families. This well-received forum gave families an inside look at the recruiting process, and gave them a chance to ask their questions directly to the college coaches involved in it. We will continue to help our players in more and different ways whenever we can. We listen to your input and feedback and incorporate new approaches each season.

The most important qualities for a potential T3 Elite player are athleticism, coachability, and dedication. We ask a lot of our players. We want their best effort at all times. And our schedule demands their commitment. Each Elite team has approximately 18 practices and attends five tournaments during the summer. We also offer an optional fall season comprised of four practices and two more tournaments. To get an idea of what our schedule is like, Click Here and look at one from this past summer.

At Elite tryouts, we analyze every player and figure out what each girl has to offer. Solid fundamentals are always a big advantage, but they can be taught! What we really look for are strong athletes with positive attitudes. Players with speed, quickness, power, and field awareness are crucial to the success of our teams. These qualities are difficult to teach, but when we have players who possess them, we can help them develop and refine their skills on the field. We can’t make good athletes, but we can turn them into great lacrosse players.

All players interested in joining a T3 Elite team are required to try out, even if they’ve played for us in the past. Tryouts are open to everyone, but all players must pre-register online.
